Dutch is like English: only genitive, indicated by an s, but without the apostrophe, sticked to the word. Only about seventy years ago this was different, at least in the written language; it was more like (eroded) German, with nominative, accusative, dative and genitive. You can still find it in petrified expressions. In the spoken language the genitive s is disappearing in favour of a construction using the possessive pronoun: instead of “Jans hoed” (John’s hat), we say “Jan zijn hoed” (John his hat). Like in Afrikaans.
20th chapter and i can still listen to this while writing 🙂

“Human” is an extraordinary experience; the film makes one question what it means to be human, what is the purpose of a life: I come away thinking: at 61, what can i do with the rest of my years? why am i here? how ought i to live? It makes me question my privileges and my obligations. It is also quite simply one of the most beautifully shot films ever. There is a scene, about halfway in, a sequence of a Mongolian girl riding her house, flat-out, on the grass steppe: what joy this expresses! And another extraordinary shot near the end of the film, of a dried river bed (at least I think that’s what it was) on an arid plain, branching outward—makes me shiver just writing about it.

Your Awesome man…………
Now those of you who spread misinformation or dehumanise atheists because YOU can’t understand why atheists can still have morality without belief in a deity or afterlives – hopefully this video should explain it…
